We met!

Over the weekend we met!

Flooding and weather events threatened to cancel our first national conference since COVID-19, but a venue change and committed attendees resulted in us meeting together in person in a very Turkish feeling atmosphere. Some of the network met for their first time, and others for their first time in many years.

Baklava and Lokum (Turkish Delight)

We wept!

We joined together in prayer and grieving for those who have suffered and died in the recent earthquakes. Lord have mercy.

We heard!

Testimonies of those who have been involved in ministry to Turks and the Turkish Church, from those who have visited, those who have lived in Türkiye and those who have grown up in Türkiye. We were also encouraged that Jesus showed extravagent love in going to minister to the individual and to keep going with what God has called us to do.

We ate!

Turk Kahvaltısı (Turkish breakfast) and after the conference we filled a local Turkish restaurant to continue the fellowship and good food.

We prayed!

The work of the church and various ministries in Türkiye and Kiwis working in Türkiye were uplifted in our prayers. And we will continue to pray. Join us for our Zoom Prayer Call next week (7:45pm Monday 27 Feb 2023).
