Tiny home build update
We are still in touch with the camp down in Antakya where the building team went to help out last year. Work has been progressing slowly and steadily, and we can now show you what the funds we raised are being used to build! The $12k generously raised is being used to build a 2-bedroom home for a local Turkish Christian. The building team worked tirelessly on preparing foundations, digging trenches, laying plumbing and drainage. Now the steel frames are going up, the pathways are down, and the roof is going on! Thanks for all your support, prayers and giving to make this happen.
Grand total fundraised
Our fundraising for Rebuilding in Antakya has ended, and we have great pleasure in announcing the grand total raised (across Givealittle, the Quiz Fundraiser, direct donations and pledges). We have raised: $12,216!
With all your support, together with a great God who knew what He had in mind to do all along, we exceeded our goal of $10,500 for homes in Antakya. We still can't quite believe it. A very special thanks to the couple who donated the $5k matched funds - it made a huge difference - and special thanks to everyone involved in making it happen.
We pray it will bring such blessing and encouragement, sent with all our love and prayers to our brothers and sisters in Türkiye.
